The Sound and Light show at Amber Fort

Last weekend was very touristic in Jaipur. Not only I went to the Birla Mandir, which I posted pictures previously, as I also went to Pink City and the Sound and Light Show at Amber Fort.

The weather in Jaipur is really pleasant these days. It’s not so hot, and in the evening it’s been a bit chilly, with beautiful clear starry skies. It’s a great time to check out this show placed just outside Amber Fort, which tells the 600 year (older than Brazil!) story of Amber Fort, in a spectacle of light and sound. Very good quality, and the view itself is already worth the visit. It costs 200 rupees, with daily sessions in English, at 6.30pm and Hindi, at 7.30pm.

I took the chance to test my new camera, taking pictures at night. Sadly, as I’m still a beginner at this photography thing, I couldn’t photograph properly all of the colorful lights, but the following pictures may give you an idea about the show.

A cockroach climbed on my hand when I was taking this picture. I still like to think it was worth it.
